Jazz Vocals

I have always loved singing Jazz. As a youngster, it was a special treat to sing with my Dad and Grandpa and while all my friends were listening to Duran Duran and Wham, I was much more interested in Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, Fatz Waller, Duke Ellington and the other greats. I was even a big fan of the smooth vocal hamony group from the 70s - Manhattan Transfer (what has happened to them?)

When I was in my early 20s I made a wonderful recording with my then boyfriend - Fionn O'Lochlain of the beautiful love song - My Funny Valentine. Its on tape and I will try and get it digitally recorded to put on here shortly.

As a Jazz vocalist, I bring all my other musical adventures, Irish trad, Klezmer, Folk, Rock, pop to create my own, fresh Jazz sound.

I have performed Jazz sets for corporate events, parties and weddings in Belfast and London. I have also performed as guest singer on many occasions as well as numerous open mic sessions.
